Great news! Skrill decided to reduce fees for money transfers, crypto transactions, and deposits. 

Skrill is one of the most popular ewallets, but it wasn’t the cheapest option. Now, Skrill is changing its fee policy to make it more accessible for customers around the world. 

Zero fees on deposits from a bank account 

From October 14, 2021, all bank transfers fee to Skrill will be reduced to 0%. At the moment, Skrill clients are paying a 1% fee for all bank deposits, which will be a considerable cost relief. 

Skrill Rapid transfers

Effective October 14, Skrill Rapid transfers will be subject to a 1% fee. 

Deposits with credit and prepaid cards 

If you want to top up your Skrill account with a prepaid or credit card, all deposits will be charged with a 1.25% fee. 

If you are funding a Skrill account with Paysafecard, you will be charged up to 5%, and a 2.5% fee will apply for paysafecash. 

Other deposit methods

For deposits with Klarna, iDeal, Multibanco, Giropay, P24, and other a fee up to 1.25% will be charged. 

Skrill to Skrill send money fee

Skrill is also changing the fee for sending money from Skrill to Skrill. Effective October 14, 2021, the following fees will be charged, depending on your Skrill status: 

  • Skriller (not verified Skrill account): 2.99% or min. 0.5 EUR
  • True Skriller (verified Skrill account): 1.45% or min. 0.5 EUR
  • Skrill VIP: FREE

Skrill Prepaid MasterCard fee

With Skrill, you can apply for a prepaid MasterCard, which you can use at all ATMs and local shops where MasterCard is accepted.

  • Skrill VIP: FREE

Skrill Crypto fees

Alongside money transfer and deposit fees, Skrill is also changing its crypto service fee policy. Until now, transactions were charged up to 1.5% regardless of your Skrill status. From September 14 onwards, the following fees will apply:
